  • App Service: Web Apps, deployment slots, scaling plans
  • Azure Container Apps and AKS basics
  • Virtual Networks: subnets, NSGs, peering, private endpoints
  • Azure DNS, Load Balancer, Application Gateway
  • Storage: Blob, File, Queue, Table — tiers, redundancy, access keys vs SAS
  • Azure CDN and Front Door
Day 2

Databases, Identity & Security

  • Azure SQL Database: managed service, DTUs vs vCores, elastic pools
  • Cosmos DB: multi-model, partitioning, consistency levels
  • Azure Cache for Redis
  • Azure Active Directory: users, groups, app registrations, service principals
  • Managed Identity: system-assigned vs user-assigned, no secrets
  • RBAC: built-in roles, custom roles, scope hierarchy
  • Key Vault: secrets, keys, certificates, access policies vs RBAC
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud: secure score, recommendations

Monitoring, Cost & DevOps

  • Azure Monitor: metrics, logs, alerts, action groups
  • Log Analytics workspace: KQL queries, workbooks, dashboards
  • Application Insights: distributed tracing, live metrics, availability tests
  • Azure Cost Management: budgets, cost alerts, cost analysis
  • Azure DevOps overview (Boards, Repos, Pipelines basics)
  • ARM templates vs Bicep vs Terraform for Azure
  • Azure Policy: compliance, deny effects, initiative definitions
  • Well-Architected Framework: reliability, security, cost, performance, operations
